What is the pre-stage work?
It is the stage when we clarify the customer’s requirements. On this stage we also determine and specify interior design and its functional features, the architectural concept is developed.
What is Duplin Christian Outreach Ministries?
Duplin Christian Outreach Ministries (DCOM) was founded in 2005 to serve the needs of our Duplin County neighbors who are experiencing a crisis. DCOM is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and does not discriminate due to race, creed, religion, national origin, or any other difference the client may have.
Where is DCOM located?
Our office and Crisis Center are located at 514 S Norwood St (US117S) in Wallace, NC.
What are the hours of operation?
DCOM is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9AM to 1130AM to interview and assist our client neighbors from Duplin County.

Is DCOM a referring agency?
Applicants seeking referrals must come to the Crisis Center offices to be interviewed. If DCOM can help, we will. But if other agencies can better serve the client, DCOM has relationships with area agencies to help expedite services. DCOM cooperates with public, private and church related resources. DCOM also refers clients to partner food pantries.
Define CRISIS?
DCOM defines crisis as an unexpected situation or event beyond the control of the individual/family/household.
Who do we help?
DCOM focuses on helping Duplin County, NC residents who are experiencing a crisis as defined above. We will provide assistance as resources are available, and upon verification of need.
How do I get help?
DCOM Crisis Center offices are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9AM to 1130AM. While no appointment is necessary, we operate on a first come, first serve basis. To receive assistance, the person needing the help has to visit the offices personally. We cannot do any third party assistance. Please bring a valid photo ID, any documents to verify the need to avoid any delays or return trips. Documents include bank statements, current bills/notices in the applicant’s name, including the account number.

DCOM welcomes volunteers to contribute to our various programs and ministries. If you are thinking about volunteer opportunities, call the office at 910-285-6000 or come by during office hours. Donations can be mailed to our office; Duplin Christian Outreach Ministries, PO Box 1252,Wallace, NC 28466 or click on Donate button. Material donations can be dropped off at the office or if for Blessings in Store at 125 W Main St, Wallace during store hours.

If you have a group, opportunities are available to team up with various ministries. Think about serving a meal at Kitchen of Blessings, serving to sort clothes or staffing the store at Blessings in Store, interviewing clients at the Crisis Center, packing food packs for Backpack Buddies, or even starting a community garden at your church or neighborhood.
